I had rats in my attic in November & called a well known company who trapped 4. The problem recurred early January, so called them again & the only advice they could give was to take an annual contract & get 3 monthly checks. The first bill was expensive so this was going to be more money with no guarantee of solving or sourcing where the rats were coming from or getting into my attic. Found Cathal on a web search & he was like a magician. Although I’m outside his area & he was in the middle of a job he listened to the problem, asked for photos of outside & told me what I needed to do. I followed his advice & think that the problem is sorted. All of my conversations with Cathal were with humour & banter & this I appreciated as it made the situation feel that it wasn’t the end of the world. He gave me lots of useful information so that the problem won’t recur. This is in compete contrast to the well known company. They weren’t the least bit interested in investigating the source of the vermin.. I would highly recommend Cathal to anyone who has a vermin problem. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable but he is so pleasant & easy to deal with.

I thoroughly recommend Cathal for his kindness, his competence and his integrity. I rang him on Saturday, and despite the work pressure he’s under with Christmas coming up and the fact that we live quite some distance away, he heard the stress in my voice, and came out to our house on Sunday morning, with his four dogs. He spent three hours here, and it turns out that he’s a magician as well as everything else, because the rat that had been living in our attic for a very long time, and ignoring all traps set out to catch him, was magically transformed into… bats. He said he could put up traps and a camera, but we’d be wasting our money. A huge thank you, for the competence and the banter!

Can not recommend Cathal highly enough. Responded quickly, sorted the issue re the potential rodent, followed up the day after, as he said he would. Brilliant service.

Highly recommend Cathal from westpest, after having two well known companys out that didn't solve our problem but charged us plenty, Westpest was recommended to us. Cathal came out within a half an hour of contacting him, very knowledgeable and professional. He has a great personality and sense of humour to make light of our serious situation. We couldn't recommend him highly enough, he has fixed our issue, and put our minds at ease.
